The Sharing Circle Facilitator is responsible for preparing and facilitating sharing circles adhering to PCFS's Code of Conduct, mission, and values.

 The Sharing Circle Facilitator interprets PCFC Policies and Procedures and ensures standards are maintained while providing mediation and support.
 

·       Promote equality, trust, respect, and a sense of community 

·       Coordinate and facilitate the Sharing Circle Process

·       Complete necessary Documentation

·       Align with First Nations traditions and cultural practices 

·       Participate in culturally relevant community or government working groups  

·       Assist in the development of an overall service plan  

·       Other Duties as assigned 

 

·       Excellent Interpersonal Skills both written and verbal 

·       Proficient organization and time management skills 

·       Maintain professionalism, Courteousness, and friendliness 

·       Experience with Mac Computers and Computer Software

·       Familiar with Signs of Safety

·       Knowledge of First Nations History and the CFS Act 

·       Knowledge of Peguis First Nations Legislation “The Honouring Our Children, Families and Nation Act”

·       Post-Secondary Degree or a Combination of education and experience 

·       Minimum of one year experience in a related field 

·       Valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable means of transportation

·       Able to submit satisfactory Adult/Child Abuse Checks, criminal record and vulnerable sector checks
