Position Summary:
Perimeter Aviation is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Northern Stations Trainer. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our Northern Stations staff receive comprehensive and up-to-date training. You will design, implement, and monitor training programs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to travel extensively across Northern communities, providing in-person training and support, and fostering strong relationships with local teams. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining operational excellence and enhancing the professional growth of our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain training records for Northern Stations staff network-wide.
- Assist in creating Pelesys courses and job aids.
- Provide hands-on training within the Northern Station department.
- Conduct operational audits to ensure SOP compliance.
- Support the creation, maintenance, and tracking of training in our LMS system.
- Onboard new hires and facilitate role familiarization.
- Travel weekly to Northern Stations for in-person training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience with First Nations organizations.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Attributes: Highly flexible, professional, respectful, motivated, and committed to on-time performance. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. High level of integrity and accountability.
- Other Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain transportation security clearances. Physically able to perform all job duties. Willing to travel and maintain residency in the applicable region.
Working Conditions:
- Travel by aircraft and other means as required.
- Shift work.
- Attend meetings and conduct presentations as needed.
