Introduction
The Humanitarian Search of the Prairie Green Landfill for remains of Morgan Harris and Marcedes Myran is one that their families have been working towards for almost two years. The work requires trained personnel, sensitivity, attention to detail, a willingness to work hard and respect and consideration for everyone involved, which includes Morgan and Marcedes. Search Team members will not only work closely with team members and supervisors but family members and friends of Morgan and Marcedes. The work will not be easy; it will be physically and mentally taxing and can also take an emotional toll. It is important that all of this is considered in the process of applying for a position to work as part of the Search Team.  Resources for emotional supports will be available for team members.

There will be two Search Teams. Each team will have a Forensic Anthropology Search Team Leader and several Search Technician members of varying experience. Search Technicians will report directly to their Forensic Anthropology Search Team Leaders in partnership with the Family Liaison, both of whom will report to the Forensic Anthropologist/Search Director. We are currently seeking applicants for two roles: Forensic Anthropology Search Assistant, Forensic Anthropology Search Technician. There are two different levels of qualifications required for the positions. Due to this being a predominantly family-led and Indigenous led search priority will be given to Indigenous people.
