SALARY: $46,862 - $65,993 per annum

DUTIES
Reporting to the Student Records and Systems Supervisor, the Student Records Officer is responsible for processing registrations, ensuring fee assessments are correct; updating and maintaining accurate and current student/graduate records (computer and manual) and providing general and specific program information to clients (internal departments, external agencies, general public, etc.) in a professional manner.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary education institution in Business Administration or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience with the creation, maintenance and analysis of customer records using in-house and/or third-party industry specific software applications and reporting tools
- Experience in researching and resolving incorrect customer records and financial information
- Experience in systems testing, including identifying errors, considering ideas and alternatives, and taking the initiative to resolve errors
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work both as a team player and with independence
- Experience in applying industry specific rules, regulations, procedures, and policies related to records and information services
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize tasks/workloads; meet deadlines; adapt to changing priorities with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel
- Effective, professional verbal communication skills
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

- This position may be required to work overtime
