Canadian Mennonite University invites applications for an 0.75 FTE, 2-year contract faculty position in Psychology.
The successful candidate will work with other faculty to teach in a thriving undergraduate Psychology program, which is an integral part of all our undergraduate degree paths.
Our Psychology department works in a broadly interdisciplinary context, offering a dynamic integration of theory, research, and practice. In small classes, we build mentoring relationships with students. We value teaching breadth and would welcome contributions in specializations including many foundational areas of Psychology: Introductory courses, Research Methods, Social Psychology, Cognitive Processes, Neuropsychology, and/or Health Psychology.
CMU is a Christian liberal arts university rooted in the Mennonite tradition. We expect faculty, in their teaching, research, and service, to engage productively and critically with the intellectual and spiritual life of the campus community.
Applicants should hold a PhD or be near completion of their doctorate, have a solid theoretical and methodological background, a strong record of scholarly research, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. Information about Canadian Mennonite University can be found at www.cmu.ca.
