Introduction
The Department of Natural Resources and Indigenous Futures is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a position of Clerk in Gypsumville. Strong organizational and time management skills with experience managing multiple deadlines.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to provide superior customer service in person and over the phone to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Effective written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
Desired:
Experience preparing and entering payroll and timekeeping documents.
Duties:
The District Clerk provides clerical/administrative and financial support services which may include duties such as providing customer service to the public, reception, processing applications, maintaining and monitoring district budgets, accounts payable and/or accounts receivable, time keeping, creating purchase orders, maintaining inventory and records management.
