SALARY: $51,573 - $72,573 per annum

DUTIES
Reporting to the Director of the Schroeder Institute of Entertainment and Media Arts, the Program Facilitator provides program support to Digital Media Design, Animation, Game Development, Digital Film and Media Production, Graphic Design, Communication Design, and Entertainment Production programs, with the overall focus and goal being student success by working collaboratively to provide program maintenance, support and promotion.
Reporting to the Director of the Schroeder Institute of Entertainment and Media Arts, the Program Facilitator provides program support to Digital Media Design, Animation, Game Development, Digital Film and Media Production, Graphic Design, Communication Design, and Entertainment Production programs, with the overall focus and goal being student success by working collaboratively to provide program maintenance, support and promotion.
Key responsibilities of the position include: preparing, updating, organizing and participating in program promotion; updating program information and digital media sites; advising, addressing, answering and resolving issues and questions related to programs from students, faculty and outside the organization; providing course and program level support by assisting with correspondence, planning events, updating course outlines/materials and learning management system (LMS), book requests, instructor and room scheduling; assisting in the arrangement and communication of student work experiences; and liaising and coordinating with internal departments and external organizations regarding programs. Other duties may arise as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary Diploma in Education, Office Administration or Business Administration/Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience supporting the delivery of educational programs and services, including Digital Media Design, Game Development, Film and Graphic Design
- Experience providing customer service to a multicultural and multi-needs customer base
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including an advanced knowledge of Word and Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working as a facilitator in a post-secondary institution
- Experience working with budgets and financial operations
- Ability to organize, assist and attend special program events
- Experience with promotion and marketing for a program or business
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends

- This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months
