POSITION TYPE: 2 Part-Time, Term Positions Available (anticipated August 18, 2025 up to June 12, 2026)
SALARY: $33.62 - $51.43 hourly
*The successful candidate with a Masters or PhD in a related field will receive an Educational Supplement of $2,850 or $5,700 per annum, respectively, pro-rated on an hourly basis.

POSITION LOCATION: Portage la Prairie Campus (90km outside of Winnipeg, MB) and Winkler Campus (120km outside of Winnipeg, MB)

DUTIES
Reporting to the Chair, the Instructors are required to facilitate the streaming of Theory, Lab and clinical practice to students in the Bachelor of Nursing Program, conduct student assessments and counseling, utilize the course LEARN website, effectively manage clinical practice student groups, and perform related administrative responsibilities as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Of Nursing degree or Diploma with equivalent work experience
- Recent and relevant clinical experience
- Ability to carry out formative and summative assessments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to teach on campus and remotely
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as in small group settings
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Manitoba or eligible for registration as an RN in Manitoba
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing curriculum and instructing at a post secondary level
- Completion of Certificate in Teaching for Learning program or Adult Education
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including a Vulnerable Persons Sector Check
- This position may be required to travel
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check
- Incumbent must hold a valid College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Certificate
- Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
