POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Term Position Available (anticipated August 18, 2025 up to September 4, 2026)
SALARY: $51,573 - $72,573 per annum
POSITION LOCATION: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB)

DUTIES
The Specialist - Commuting & Parking is responsible for oversite and improvement to commuting and parking related activities and services on the Winnipeg campuses of Red River College Polytech. These activities will be focused on operationalizing initiatives to enhance RRC Polytech customer commuting and parking related experiences. The Specialist supports the mandate to maintain and assist in the ongoing development of related business opportunities and technological tools to support improved college operations and increase revenue generation for the Ancillary Services department.
The Specialist - Commuting & Parking is responsible for oversite and improvement to commuting and parking related activities and services on the Winnipeg campuses of Red River College Polytech. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree program with a focus on business, administration, or marketing from an accredited institution or a combination of education and extensive related work experience
- Demonstrated business development experience highlighting the full business development lifecycle including problem definition, planning, analysis, solution development, implementation, evaluation, and iteration
- Demonstrated working knowledge of technology commonly found in operational management settings, including but not limited to business management software, workflow tools. Payment systems and MS Office Suite
- Experience in a position of increasing responsibility with business management related fields
- Excellent presentation skills to keep all Commuting & Parking community members informed while promoting effective, efficient, and sustainable transportation services
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and successfully manage competing tasks in a fast-paced environment, while adhering to mutually agreed timelines, all while maintaining high quality standards
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills and ability to respond appropriately in stressful situations while ensuring the health and safety of the community at large
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and the ability to leverage them to provide efficient process improvement initiatives as well as supporting other team members in their development of these skills
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a group setting
- Demonstrated experience working in a transportation related field with a post-secondary educational institution
- Demonstrated ability to research and develop process and procedures that leverage existing and new technology
- Demonstrated advanced customer service skills
- Experience working with Parking Management software
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada

- May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
- Incumbent must hold a valid class 5 driver`s license
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check
