The Department of Families is seeking highly motivated individuals to fill a Child and Family Services Applications Trainer position, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Qualifications:
Essential:
Post secondary education in Social Sciences field (preferably BSW). Other combinations of education and related experience may be considered.
Experience in case management and front line service delivery in the Child and Family Services field.
Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles, with experience designing and delivering training to adult learners.
Extensive experience working with the Child and Family Services Information System (CFSIS) and Intake Module (IM).
Thorough knowledge of Child and Family Services legislation, standards and agency operating procedures.
Strong verbal communication skills including the ability to deliver information effectively to various individuals.
Excellent written communication skills with experience developing a variety of materials.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of individuals.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) or similar software applications.
Desired:
Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in French.
Duties:
Under the general direction of the Manager of CFS Operations and Support, the incumbent works as a member of the Child and Family Services Applications (CFSA) team to provide training for Child and Family Services (CFS) users at the Child and Family Services Division, CFS agencies, and regional offices. The incumbent provides input into the development and operation of the CFSA to meet the procedural and operational requirements of CFS, including requirements of The Child and Family Services Act. This position functions in an environment requiring a team approach on issues resolution, problem solving and technology direction setting. The incumbent will have a specialized knowledge of the complex CFS Information systems and a thorough understanding of the business policies, procedures and objectives of the Division (along with broad knowledge of CFS legislation, standards and agency operations).
