Introduction
Consider a career in Correctional Nursing! This unique opportunity will be of interest to a dynamic and broadly-experienced nurse who would like to become a member of a professional medical unit that provides assessment and treatment to clients within a correctional environment. This environment is highly autonomous and requires nursing staff to work independently and in consultation with the on-call physician. This is a challenging, fast paced, dynamic environment providing a unique experience not seen in traditional nursing roles.

Nurses who are interested in corrections are encouraged to tour the correctional centres to get firsthand experience of what it would be like to be a Correctional Nurse. Nurses will witness and understand the level of security and protection our health care workers experience. To schedule a tour of any of the Centres outlined below, please contact [email protected].
