DUTIES
Reporting to the Chair of the Dental Assisting and Diagnostic Imaging Programs, the Educational Assistant, Medical Radiologic Technology Program will share the responsibilities for the creation of lab schedules, ordering supplies, demonstration of techniques, evaluation and supervision of students in the laboratory setting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Medical Radiologic Technology from an accredited training program
- Active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- Extensive and current clinical experience as a medical laboratory technologist
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings
- Ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Education
- Experience working in a post-secondary environment
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including a Vulnerable Persons Sector Check
- Incumbent must hold a valid and Current CPR Certificate
- Incumbent must hold a valid and current First Aid Certificate
