SEED Winnipeg is excited to welcome new team members who want to make a difference in our community! We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to work in reception. You’ll greet people at our front desk and help with our processes and systems to keep our office running smoothly.

Responsibilities


  • Reception & Intake: You’ll welcome visitors and answer questions in person, by phone, and by email. You’ll help people join our programs and share information about community resources. 
  • General Administrative Support: You’ll help with everyday office tasks by providing daily administrative assistance, preparing meeting materials, and taking accurate meeting notes.
  • Administrative Process Support: You’ll find ways to support and make our office run smoothly. You’ll keep files organized and support teams by doing administrative work. 

Qualifications

  • You are reliable and punctual 
  • You have strong people skills, working with a professional, friendly and calm welcoming manner
  • You have experience helping people and want to make everyone feel welcome
  • You are good at solving programs, taking initiative, and figuring things out
  • You can communicate clearly and easily – talking and writing
  • You deal with conflict in a healthy way and work well with others
  • You have an understanding of the ongoing impacts of colonization and how history affects people today
  • You can work by yourself and organize your tasks
  • You can handle several tasks at once and pay close attention to details
  • You have strong computer skills and are able to quickly learn new software applications 
    • You can type a minimum of 60 wpm
  • You are able to work occasional evenings and weekends
