Introduction

This position is responsible for providing bilingual front line customer service to the public and other additional stakeholders, as well as preparing and distributing court documents relating to offences issued under Provincial Statutes, Regulations, and Municipal By-Laws. The incumbent is expected to work independently with a variety of documents that vary in complexity.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Experience performing a full range of administrative or clerical duties, including preparing specialized or highly complex documents, processing detailed documentation, performing data entry, and creating and maintaining electronic filing system.
Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to handle multiple tasks in high pressure situations.
Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively.
Experience working in a team environment while maintaining a respectful environment.
Effective analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make sound independent decisions.
Excellent French and English verbal communication skills.
Excellent French and English written communication skills.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office software including Word, Outlook and Excel, or other similar programs.
Desired:
Experience with reading and applying policies and procedures of Provincial Court.
Experience with court related systems such as the Common Offence Notice (CON) System.
