Front Office Administrator (Winnipeg) 12-Month Term

You’ll connect with internal and external stakeholders, coordinate essential services, support staff, and help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming office environment.

- Screen incoming calls, retrieve general voicemail messages, and re-direct to the appropriate person or department; Maintain phone systems throughout the organization;
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, invoices, and tracking systems;
- Maintain all photocopy rooms inventory, and basic troubleshooting of equipment;
- Coordinate and oversee functions of outside contractors as assigned;
- Order and maintain building maintenance materials such as cleaning supplies;
- Ensure the secure handling and storage of confidential documents; adhere to APTN archival records and document management.
Your accomplishments and experience include:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline with related experience; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and traditional knowledge;
- Experience in administration and customer service is required;
- Proficiency with Internet, E-mail and other business-related computer software is required;
- Experience in an Indigenous organization is an asset;
- Experience with First Nations/Métis/Inuit culture and teachings is an asset.
