Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Process Development Advisor to join the Work Management Department in Winnipeg, MB. You will be responsible for executing on improvement initiatives and monitoring the performance of work management processes in the Business Unit. The position will play a key role in ensuring work management processes align with the Business Unit and Divisional objectives and will collaborate with Operations Teams across Manitoba.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and document Operations work management processes and transactions to standardize across business units/divisions.
  • Act as a process and continuous improvement specialist, providing advice, recommendations, and guidance on work management processes throughout the organization.
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-disciplinary teams within the business unit for the development of business processes and resolution of complex issues as they relate to work management and the Work Management Systems.
  • Provide research and recommendations in developing a framework to monitor and measure the success of standardized Work Management processes.
  • Review and recommend updates to processes as new best practices emerge.
  • Provide assessments and recommendations in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing work management process initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to Operations in implementing new/updated business processes.
  • Liaise with other Business Units, with respect to enterprise-wide processes & continuous improvement.
  • Able to build trust with people in varying levels of the business unit, and influence people without direct authority.
  • Support training efforts for process enhancement conducted at distribution department hubs in Thompson, Brandon and Winnipeg.
  • Review and audit work management processes through data analytics.

Qualifications:
  • A four-year degree in Business/Commerce, Information Technology/Business Analyst, or other related discipline from a university of recognized standing plus five years related experience.
    OR
  • A two-year diploma in Business or other related discipline plus seven years related experience.
  • Experience in developing business process documentation and process mapping. 
  • Working knowledge of the Work Management Systems within Operations including EAM, MWM, RMS & OMS. 
  • Knowledge in Business Process Management methodologies and software. 
  • Working knowledge of process analysis and improvement, business transformation and project management methodologies (i.e., Lean Six Sigma, change management etc.).
  • Aptitude for data analytics (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Facilitation experience would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects or work assignments.
  • Proven ability in performing problem solving functions and follow-up.
  • Demonstrated high proficiency level in developing business processes.
  • Ability to perform in and in a cross-disciplinary team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership of a cross-disciplinary team in planning, organizing and managing multiple activities within strict timelines.
  • Creative, self-motivating and capable of devising solutions to broadly defined objectives.

Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $43.35-$59.82 Hourly, $83,070.78-$114,625.68 Annually.
