  • Organized and meticulous. This is a high-trust environment, and you understand that in this work, there are no mistakes
  • Comfortable working with deceased animals
  • Able to lift 70lbs independently and 140lbs with two-person assistance
  • Have a clean driver's abstract and reliable transportation
  • Responsible and reliable—our families and veterinary partners depend on us
  • Able to communicate with warmth and clarity, both in writing and in person
  • Someone who can handle a job that sounds sad on the outside but feels incredibly meaningful on the inside
  • Excited by startups and ready to help build operational standards that will eventually scale
  • Someone who loves animals

Why This Work Matters

Families trust us with the final care of their beloved companions. We take that responsibility seriously.

At Tillwell, we believe that death care is health care. We're a B Corp-certified company reimagining end-of-life services through aquamation and ecological renewal—a gentle, water-based process that uses 90% less energy than traditional cremation. Tillwell plants trees by dedicating 5% of its annual net revenue towards urban canopy maintenance and renewal through our partnership with Tree Canada and municipalities like the City of Winnipeg.

We're a trusted aquamation partner for veterinary clinics across Manitoba, with regional partnerships that reflect our commitment to excellence and compassionate care.

As our first employee, you won't just be filling a role—you'll be defining it. Your work building our Manitoba operations becomes the foundation for expansion. If you're the right fit, you'll find this job surprisingly fulfilling and purpose-driven.
