Introduction
The Real Estate Services Branch transacts land sales and acquisitions (including expropriations) and administers land leases and permits on behalf of the Province of Manitoba, ensuring that the government's land dealings achieve value for money and are conducted in a professional, fair, open and transparent manner.
Duties:
The Land Administrator Clerk (4) provides administrative and clerical support in the Real Estate Services Branch (RESB) to all areas of the Branch as assigned. The Incumbent handles written, telephone, and in-person inquiries and agreements relating to sales, leases and permits, assignments, collateral recordings, easements, and license of occupation. Incumbents also perform paralegal functions associated with the acquisition of real property, the disbursement of funds and special project coordination on behalf of various government departments and clients of the Real Estate Services Branch (RESB).

Experience working in a real estate or legal environment. Significant experience in an unrelated office environment may be considered in combination with other relevant education and experience.
Experience working with legal land descriptions of property.
Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing and reviewing documents relating to a variety of real estate, loan or legal matters.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage conflicting deadlines.
Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships and interact effectively with senior managers, staff members and stakeholders.
Excellent verbal communication skills to convey clear and effective messages to a broad range of stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software applications.
Desired:
Knowledge and experience with policies, procedures, statutes, regulations and Government Acts.
Working knowledge of the Property Registry and Manitoba Assessment.
