Introduction
The Enterprise Resource Planning Division is looking to fill an ABAP Cloud Developer position. Duties:
Reporting directly to the IT Services Manager, the ABAP Cloud Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient solutions within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), with a focus on ABAP Cloud development. This role supports the organization’s digital transformation initiatives by delivering high-quality, cloud-ready applications that align with business requirements and SAP best practices. The developer collaborates closely with functional teams, business analysts, and other technical staff to ensure seamless integration, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of SAP systems.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Extensive experience with SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, and other SAP modules.
Experience with SAP BTP, CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5 and SAP Business Application Studio.
Experience with Git, gCTS, transport management, CI/CD pipelines, and Cloud ALM.
Proficiency in ABAP, RAP, and CDS views.
Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS).
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem¿solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to create reports and related documents in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear and organized manner to a variety of stakeholders.
