Operating under the umbrella of Student Services and Global Partnerships, Campus Well-Being (CWB) enhances the student experience and drives employee engagement by delivering programs and services related to sport, fitness, recreation, mental well-being, and youth. These programs and services create a greater sense of well-being, belonging, and connectedness in our campus community. CWB's multi-disciplinary team promotes a holistic view of health, uses evidence, assessment and evaluation to inform decisions, and applies an equity lens to pursue inclusion in all we do.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Reporting to the Youth Initiatives Supervisor, the Youth Camp Leader supports the delivery of RRC Polytech Youth Day Camp programs at the Notre Dame Campus, with potential delivery at the Exchange District Campus. By supervising campers, enforcing policies, modeling leadership qualities and leading recreational programs, the Youth Camp Leader ensures a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all.

- Experience working in customer service, recreation or youth programming

- Salary Range for this position: $38,472 - $51,555 per annumGenerous Paid Vacation: Full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year. Information on casual and part-time vacation accrual is outlined in the Collective Agreement or the Terms and Conditions for Excluded Employees as applicable
- December Break: Employees receive time off with pay during the period between Boxing Day and New Year's Day

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including a Vulnerable Persons Sector Check
- Must be a current student
Successful candidates will be required to participate in one-week of mandatory paid camp training from June 22-26, 2026. Day Camp runs from July 6th-31st with the possibility of extension until August 7th, 2026.
