WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Operational Specialist – Fleet Print is the subject matter expert for digital print production and fleet print services. This role manages and optimizes print operations across monochrome, colour, and wide-format devices, as well as finishing equipment, ensuring high-quality and efficient output.
Responsibilities include overseeing print workflows, prioritizing production, supporting pricing and invoicing, performing routine equipment calibrations, managing supplies, and troubleshooting technical issues, including coordinating vendor support.

The role also ensures fleet print services are reliable, secure, and aligned with the needs of academic, staff, and student users, while driving standardization and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Certificate in Print Production or Graphic Design: or a combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the use of digital print production devices and workflow processes, including monochrome, colour, and wide area format printers, finishing and bindery equipment
- Ability to oversee device management, service partnerships, consumables, service agreement compliance which includes data collection and ITS ticket monitoring
- Ability to lead and assist in fleet optimization services/analysis and recommendations for technology utilization and continuous improvement throughout term of the equipment lease agreement.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with limited supervision
- Ability to effectively manage tasks and successfully meet deadlines
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

- Salary Range for this position: $52,988 - $74,570 per annum
- Generous Paid Vacation: full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year. Information on casual and part-time vacation accrual is outlined in the Collective Agreement or the Terms and Conditions for Excluded Employees as applicable.
- December Break: employees receive time off with pay during the period between Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
