Are you a student searching for that right summer opportunity?  Are you interested in learning more about First Nations Health Research?  If you answered yes to these questions, then keep reading this ad for your opportunity to support the movement of improving the Health Status of First Nations people in Manitoba.
 
FNHSSM is hiring summer students as part of the Research Department, where they will support a variety of projects. All students will gain valuable experience in research, presentation skills, community engagement, program coordination, and community health initiatives while contributing to work that directly supports First Nations communities in Manitoba.

What are we looking for? We’ll keep this brief:
·         First Nations secondary or post-secondary student who will be returning to school in Fall 2026;
·         Excellent communication, reading, and writing skills;
·         Experience doing a literature review is an asset;
·         Understanding of First Nation Data Sovereignty ;
·         Understanding of First Nations history and how it relates to current health priorities;
·         Willingness to learn.
