Team members contribute meaningfully to the day‑to‑day campus experience for students, staff, and visitors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Building Service Worker will complete daily, weekly, monthly and annual scheduled cleaning, advise administrative staff when supplies are required, respond to emergency clean ups as necessary, advise Regional and/or Office Manager of any building maintenance required and perform set up for special events. Other duties include advising the Supervisor of any minor building maintenance required, set up special events/exams, clean and deep clean indoor and outdoor spaces, wash windows and walls, and other duties, as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Experience as a cleaner in an office, commercial and/or school environment
- Experience performing duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning washrooms, setting up tables/chairs, moving equipment, emptying garbage, cleaning stairs and washing windows
- Demonstrated ability to self-initiate and work independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player with the willingness to learn and be trained
- Strong work ethic with an aspiration to provide quality cleaning services
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

- Salary Range for this position: $19.17 - $27.02 hourly
- Generous Paid Vacation: full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year. Information on casual and part-time vacation accrual is outlined in the Collective Agreement or the Terms and Conditions for Excluded Employees as applicable
- December Break: employees receive time off with pay during the period between Boxing Day and New Year's Day
