To add to this expertise, we are recruiting for a Building Information Model (BIM) Lead for our Winnipeg office location, to join our collaborative and team focused organization.

As a BIM Lead, you will be responsible for developing conceptual equipment layouts and coordinating all 3D content within our project BIM models.

Position Overview:
·       Work with Mechanical Engineers, Process Engineers, Structural Engineers, the design team, Field Operations, and Project Managers to design equipment and facility layouts within our 3D BIM models.
·       Participate in project meetings with other designers and engineers to ensure overall layout and fit up of designed components.
·       Interact directly with design team to develop high quality drawings and plans in accordance with client specifications.
·       Provide design suggestions to the Mechanical Engineers, Process Engineers, Structural Engineers and Project Team based on optimal layouts of equipment and buildings.

Qualifications Needed:
·       Diploma in a technical field such as Architectural Technology or Engineering Technology or a combination of technical education and experience.
·       Minimum 2 - 5 years of construction industry experience required; experience within industrial construction or a design-build environment is considered an asset.
·       Experience with interpreting shop drawings, general arrangement drawings, and survey data and drawings is considered an asset.
·       Experience with design software such as Autodesk, Inventor, Navisworks, Autodesk Forma, Revit, and other Autodesk products.
·       High degree of accuracy and able to manage multiple details under tight deadlines and pressure.
·       Demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and work effectively across teams.
·       Travel requirements are minimal, with only occasional visits to job sites as needed.
