Position Overview:
We are seeking a permanent Administrative Representative to join our Transmission Operations & Maintenance North Department in Thompson, Manitoba.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform all duties associated with the Time Administrator function including expenses as well as assist with the interpretation and application of the IBEW Union Agreement & Corporate Directives, including answering inquiries on matters relative to policies. 
  • Using SAP, create stock transport orders, ARC clothing orders including completion process (MIGO), Hi voltage rubber glove orders, process service entries to pay miscellaneous invoices, dealing directly with suppliers as required.
  • Responsible for VISA reconciliation in TEM, assisting with other staff VISA reconciliation and preparing journal corrections as required.
  • Keep accurate records of vacation, travel, northern trips and medical trip days.
  • Act as the ARC Coordinator for TSOM North which includes creating purchase orders to order ARC clothing.
  • Recording secretary for TSO&M North WS&H Committee.
  • Responsible to ensure that the Department safety program records are maintained, and accurate information is inputted into SMS, SafetyNet, RMS Safety Dashboard and HRMS. Plan and organize safety meetings, required safety training and coordinate.
  • WHMIS coordinator for the department.
  • Create travel requests and flight manifests in TEM. Book flights and charters for department.
  • Create, record, and review billing of BOLs for department.
  • Enter & track working alone plans.
  • Will be responsible for extracting and monitoring report data from SAP relative to budgets, including journaling as required.
  • May be required to provide relief coverage for Admin. Rep IV.
  • Prepare monthly Statistical Report including the compilation of data regarding hours worked, kilometres driven, public incidents, Responsible for equipment record updates, and inventory reports using such systems as RMS.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum Grade 12 education plus two years' directly related experience.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel, HRMS and SAP is required.
  • Familiar with Corporate Policies and Union Agreements and proficient at interpretation of same.
  • Require an aptitude for accounting, budget preparation and familiar with associated reports.
  • Able to plan and organize work schedules and priorities.
  • Familiar with and able to operate equipment including personal computers, copiers, plotters, scanners, printers, fax machines, etc.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Possess a valid Province of Manitoba Driver's Licence.

Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $27.53-$37.04 Hourly, $52,744.38-$70,968.04 Annually.
