WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Compensation & Benefits Analyst plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery and continuous improvement of RRC Polytech's compensation and benefits programs. Reporting to the Manager, Total Compensation, this position is responsible for contributing to compensation and benefits administration through job evaluation, data analysis, auditing, process development, research, and employee support. The role works closely with leaders, employees, service providers, and other stakeholders to ensure programs are administered effectively, consistently, and in compliance with applicable policies, collective agreements, and legislation. Through the development of resources, identification of trends and opportunities, and implementation of process improvements, the Compensation & Benefits Analyst helps strengthen the College's compensation and benefits programs while supporting a positive employee experience.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Degree in Human Resource Management or related degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in total compensation administration, including job evaluation and/or benefits administration. Experience in both areas is strongly preferred
- Experience analyzing and interpreting HR, compensation, or benefits data and presenting findings and recommendations
- Ability to synthesize information into clear, actionable insights, deliverables, and findings
- Basic understanding of human resource functions
- Experience working independently, successfully prioritizing and planning work
- Knowledge of legislation related to human resources
- An effective team player who demonstrates initiative in their own work and offers support to others when needed
- Communicates effectively both interpersonally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with various levels of management and staff within the college, union, external organizations and the public
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

- Salary Range for this position: $60,697 - $81,281 per annum
- Generous Paid Vacation: full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year. Information on casual and part-time vacation accrual is outlined in the Collective Agreement or the Terms and Conditions for Excluded Employees as applicable
- December Break: employees receive time off with pay during the period between Boxing Day and New Year's Day
- Defined Benefits Pension Plan: Employer and Employee contributions to future retirement benefits
