POSITION TYPE: Multiple Part-Time, Term Position Available (anticipated November 18, 2024 , to March 14, 2025) with Possibility of an Extension
SALARY: $33.62 - $51.43 hourly
*The successful candidate with a Masters or PhD in a related field will receive an Educational Supplement of $2,850 or $5,700 per annum, respectively, pro-rated on an hourly basis.

DUTIES
Reporting to the Chair, the instructors are required to facilitate clinical practice to students in the Bachelor of Nursing Program, conduct student assessment and counseling, utilize the course LEARN website, effectively manage clinical practice student groups, and perform related administrative responsibilities as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, Diploma and equivalent work experience
- Recent clinical practice experience working in one or more of the following areas: Acute and subacute medicine placements; pediatrics and surgery
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Manitoba or eligible for registration as an RN in Manitoba
- Ability to carry out formative and summative
- Valid and current CPR certificate
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Effective leadership skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings
- Ability to teach on campus and remotely
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including a Vulnerable Persons Sector Check
- Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
- Incumbent must hold a valid College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Certificate
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check
