Grant and Prospect Researcher – Full-Time
Salary Range: $22.00 to $27.00 per hour

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Grant and Prospect Researcher to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in identifying and securing funding opportunities to support our mission of holistic healing and community empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
Grant Writing and Management
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with Anish Healing Center’s mission and programs.
- Write compelling grant proposals, budgets, and reports.
- Track and manage grant deadlines, ensuring compliance with funders’ requirements.
- Develop internal systems to monitor and report on grant conditions and program outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of grant activities and donor information.
Prospect Research
- Proactively identify and research new donor prospects, including individuals, foundations, and corporations.
- Analyze potential supporters' financial capacity, interests, and alignment with Anish Healing Center’s mission.
- Create comprehensive profiles and reports on prospects and donors.
- Utilize relationship mapping tools to support fundraising strategies.
Development Support
- Assist in coordinating fundraising events and community engagement activities.
- Collaborate with team members to secure sponsorships and partnerships for Anish Healing Center’s programs.
- Work closely with volunteer services to identify potential corporate partnerships and volunteer engagement opportunities.
About You
- Passionate about supporting community wellness and Indigenous cultural values.
- Strong writer with the ability to create persuasive and meaningful narratives.
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills.
- Comfortable with data management and proficient in using donor databases and MS Office applications.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience in grant writing, prospect research, or a related field.
- Familiarity with fundraising practices and donor cultivation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
