SALARY: $63,375 - $96,946 per annum*
*The successful candidate with a Masters or PhD in a related field will receive an Educational Supplement of $2,850 or $5,700 per annum, respectively, pro-rated on an hourly basis.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in data science, machine learning, software development, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience with data science, software development, machine learning or artificial intelligence
- Experience with technical documentation and technical writing, including training materials, manuals, reports, curriculum or courses
- Knowledge of User Experience and User Interface philosophies and practices
- Experience mentoring, leading a team, training or coaching
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Strong presentation skills
- Knowledge or experience in program area topics such as Python, statistics, data management and visualization
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing curriculum and instructing at a post-secondary level
- Experience with Agile project management, project management or IT service delivery
- Knowledge of User Experience and User Interface philosophies and practices
- Experience with delivering blended (in-person and online) instruction
- Experience with delivering courses through an LMS (Learning Management System)
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
- This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months
- May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
